A couple of days ago, the hydrogen circulation machine stopped, leading to an emergency shutdown. When operation started, the feed pump was turned on, but wax oil condensed between the outlet of the feed pump and the reactor, resulting in no flow for a long time. Additionally, what should be done with the wax oil in the raw material tank?
Areas that can be flushed with diesel during shutdown should be done so; hydrogen should be purged from the pump outlet to the hydrogen mixing point, and diesel should be used to displace it as soon as the startup circulation line is taken out of use. In areas where displacement is difficult or purging is not possible, heat tracing for insulation should be considered
In the feedstock section of a hydrocracking unit, heating is usually kept active at all times. In the event of an emergency shutdown, if the shutdown duration is not very long, there is generally no need to use diesel for replacement; however, if the shutdown lasts for a longer period, diesel must be used for replacement for the required amount of time.
The reaction is shut down; is it possible to use the feed pump to drive the distillation cycle? The distillate has a temperature, which ensures its flowability. The hydrogen circulation pump has stopped, so purge hydrogen is no longer available. During an emergency shutdown for replacement, how can diesel be used? Still going to the reactor?
How is flushing oil generally used? Can it be used to flush pipelines? Does it feel very fine? Where to go after flushing?
