When processing a mixture of catalyzed diesel and coker diesel at a pressure of 6 MPa, the nitrogen content in the resulting oil gradually increases. What is the reason for this? Thank you!
Changes in the properties of the raw materials, changes in catalyst activity, changes in the degree of reaction, temperature, and so on, are all relevant
Check if there are any issues with your feed filter, and whether the carbon content in the feed has increased significantly.
Check whether the nitrogen content in the feedstock is higher than before; have the reaction conditions been adjusted? Has the space velocity increased? Has the reaction temperature decreased? Have there been any changes in the purity and flow rate of the recycled hydrogen? Also, consider the condition of the catalyst. There are quite a few factors at play, so you need to investigate each one individually to find the causes.

Generally, there are no issues with the filters. If parameters such as space velocity, hydrogen-to-oil ratio, and hydrogen partial pressure are all fine, then it’s possible that there is a problem with the raw materials. Or whether the catalyst itself has become deactivated, in which case the operating conditions need to be adjusted accordingly
