Control of direct feeding to the device: Initially, our devices did not have direct feeding either. Later, in order to save energy and reduce consumption, this feature was added. Over the years of operation, it has been gradually improved; this is for reference only; 1. First, the existing storage and transportation process does not need to be removed; it can be used for emergency situations as well as during startup and shutdown operations ; 2. Before the direct feed enters the downstream equipment, a direct feed tank must be added to that equipment for oil-water separation (sedimentation of coke dust); staff must drain water at the end of each shift ; 3. The backwash filter should be selected with a capacity larger than the designed value, which helps to prevent fluctuations in the system’s performance; additionally, it is recommended to have a spare filter if possible. 4. Direct feeding will increase the outlet temperature of the upstream units; it is essential to pay attention to the temperature that the equipment in the downstream units can withstand, in order to avoid overheating which could cause the material to vaporize and the feed pump to run dry ; 5. The moisture content of the materials in the upstream units must be tested at each shift to prevent damage caused by excessive water amounts affecting the catalyst ;
It’s better to use kindling or something in the storage area; it’s too dirty! We have newly added a device for adding kindling, accelerating the combustion process, cooling the materials, and discharging high-quality wood chips, and its heat exchange efficiency is excellent!
The biggest problem with heat supply is that the filters simply cannot handle the load; especially when there is a large amount of black particulate matter from coker diesel. The maximum heat supply temperature for coker fuel is around 90 degrees, so the effect of raising the temperature is not very significant. The diesel supplied directly from the atmospheric and vacuum distillation units, which has the best effect on raising temperature, results in a significant savings in terms of reaction heating furnaces.
