The sulfur recovery unit is designed for a capacity of 50,000 tons per year. When the operating load is at 60%, the burners start to vibrate, and this vibration persists even when the load increases to 85%; the intensity of the vibration also rises as the load increases. I’m asking those who are more experienced whether they have encountered the same problem
A higher load usually causes resonance; you can contact the burner manufacturer to see if it’s a problem with the burner.
The issue is mainly caused by the supply of air; an analysis conducted in collaboration with the manufacturer should enable a solution.
