Regarding the installations I have worked on, there were issues such as overreported liquid levels in the acidic gas separation tank in front of the furnace, problems with the pressure and flame detection in the incinerator, as well as shutdowns of the main fan. There were also underreported liquid levels in the waste heat boiler and the liquid sulfur cooler, along with overreported pressures at the outlet of the catcher. The temperature at the outlet of the exhaust gas hydrogenation unit was overreported, while the liquid level in the quench tower was underreported, along with an overreported temperature of the exhaust gas at its outlet. There were also issues with the pressure and flame detection in the exhaust gas furnace – that’s about it
Our system shows a high level in the acidic gas separation tank in front of the furnace, high pressure in the reaction furnace, issues with the flame detection system, low air flow, a low level in the waste heat boiler, and high pressure at the outlet of the catcher.
When using fuel gas, there are also issues of high and low readings for fuel gas pressure, as well as high readings for the liquid level in the fuel gas separation tank
