On February 19, the Damao United Banner Branch of the Baotou City Ecology and Environment Bureau planned to accept the environmental impact assessment report for the project aimed at improving the quality of fluorite powder used in fluorine chemical production by Inner Mongolia Jin'Ebo Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd., and published it for public consultation. Project Name: Fluorine Chemicals Supporting Fluorite Fine Powder Improvement Project of Inner Mongolia Jin'Ebo Fluorine Chemicals Co., Ltd ； Construction unit: Inner Mongolia Jinoebo Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd ； Construction nature: New construction ； Total investment amount: 18.8003 million yuan ； Construction content and scale: A new fluorine chemical industry-related fluorspar concentrate upgrading production line with a capacity of 600 t/d will be built. This line will process 180,000 tons of fluorspar concentrate with a purity of ≥80% per year, producing 151,874 tons of fluorspar concentrate with a purity of around 92%. As part of this fluorine chemical industry project, the fluorspar concentrate produced (with CaF2 content ≥92%) will not be sold externally ； Construction period: 3 months, March 2025 – May 2025. The flexible integrated production project of Inner Mongolia Jin'Ebo Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd., which aims to produce 360,000 tons per year of anhydrous aluminum fluoride and 180,000 tons per year of AHF (Phase I and Phase II), has completed the environmental impact assessment procedures. The annual demand for fluorite powder for these two phases is 800,000 tons (480,000 tons in Phase I and 320,000 tons in Phase II), with a required purity level of CaF2 ≥ 90%. Due to fluctuations in the purity of some of the fluorite powder supplied by Inner Mongolia Baogang Jinshi Mineral Processing Co., Ltd. and other nearby enterprises, approximately 180,000 tons of such fluorite powder each year do not meet the requirement of CaF2 ≥ 90% (their purity ranges between 80% and 90%).
