To better regulate the bromine market and enable the market to play a leading role in resource allocation, companies in this industry should unite to avoid price dumping and fierce competition, thereby maintaining a fair and reasonable competitive environment in the market. From the perspective of the development of the bromine industry, Wang Xiaofeng believes that the first step is to strive to improve technological innovation capabilities. It is recommended that enterprises concentrate their investments and efforts on areas such as resource development, production technology, production equipment, and downstream applications, in order to achieve new major innovations and breakthroughs. For example, the technology for producing bromine via electrooxidation is attracting increasing attention due to its advantages such as excellent selectivity, simple production process, clean manufacturing methods, and low energy consumption. Secondly, it is necessary to improve enterprises’ ability to make precise investments. Expanding the sources of bromine resources and supporting domestic enterprises in the exploration and development of overseas resources can increase China’s holdings of such resources as well as its capacity to supply resource-based products. Third is to continuously improve the ability to optimize existing assets. The optimization of existing assets is a cost-effective measure for adjustment and upgrading that yields quick results; it also holds great significance for extending and strengthening industry chains as well as promoting transformation and development. Through upgrades and improvements, enterprises can develop in the direction of greater precision and intelligence.
