At the ceremony, Qin Jiusan, chairman of Xinzhoubang, delivered an enthusiastic speech, stating that the commencement of construction of the Fluorine New Materials Research Center represents not only a new milestone in Haisufu’s development but also a significant step taken by the Xinzhoubang Group to further optimize its industrial chain structure and strengthen its technological advantages. The project will involve the construction of an exhibition hall for fluorine-based new materials, modeled after Hakka stilt houses. It will also feature a science and technology concept museum that covers topics such as Hakka culture and the history of the fluorine industry, and this museum will be open to the public. As a result, this project will not only be an industrial and commercial initiative but will also serve as a cultural symbol for Sanming City. It will represent a gift from Haishifu to Mingxi on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. The Sanming Haishifu Fluorine New Materials Research Center project is a key provincial project for 2025. It is located to the east of Nanshan New Village in Mingxi County, with an estimated investment of around 210 million yuan. The land area required for the project is about 25.8 mu, and completion of the main construction is planned for December 2025, with operation set to begin in October 2026. The research center will focus on cutting-edge fluorine chemical technologies, establish advanced research platforms, attract top-tier scientific researchers, stimulate the innovation drive at Saiming Haisufu Company, accelerate the process of product upgrading, and lay a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the organic fluorine chemicals business unit.
