Public announcement on the approval process for Shandong Huafu’s high-performance modified fluorine-containing new materials project! 2025-02-26 12:50:01 On February 21, the Zhangqiu Branch of the Jinan Ecology and Environment Bureau planned to review the environmental impact assessment report for Shandong Huafu Chemical Co., Ltd.’s project related to high-performance modified fluorine-containing new materials, and to make it public. It is understood that the project is located within the existing facility of Shandong Huafu Chemical Co., Ltd. in the Diao Town Chemical Industry Park in Jinan. With a total investment of 62.22 million yuan and a total floor area of 4,500 square meters, it will be constructed in two phases: In the first phase, a new production facility capable of producing 500 tons per year of perfluoroalkyl series products will be built, yielding 175 tons of perfluorohexyl iodide, 125 tons of perfluoroalkyl iodide, 200 tons of perfluorobutylethylene, and 140 tons of potassium iodide per year; meanwhile, the existing wastewater treatment plant will also be upgraded ； The second phase of the project will construct a new production facility with an annual capacity of 3,000 tons of hydrofluoroethers, enabling an annual output of 3,000 tons of such compounds. Upon completion of this project, it will have an annual production capacity of 175 tons of perfluorohexyl iodide, 125 tons of perfluoroalkyl iodides, 200 tons of perfluorobutylethylene, 3,000 tons of hydrofluoroethers, and 140 tons of potassium iodide (the facility for perfluoroalkyl product series in the first phase will produce 140 tons of potassium iodide per year).
