Another fine chemicals and new materials industrial park has been established in Guizhou. Recently, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology published on its official website a list of proposed new chemical parks in the province, and the Wuchuan Fluorine-Barium New Materials Industrial Park is included on that list. The Wuchuan Fluorine-Barium New Materials Industrial Park relies primarily on the abundant fluorite and barite mineral resources in Wuchuan and the Wuling Mountain region, focusing on the development of industries such as basic raw materials, green fluorocarbons with low GWP values, fluorinated polymers and their products, fluorinated fine chemicals, high-quality fluoride salts, fine barium salts, as well as the comprehensive utilization of by-products and solid waste. The industrial park is divided into four functional zones: I, II, III, and IV. Zone I is primarily designated for industries involving basic raw materials (including the processing of fluorite and barite, as well as anhydrous hydrogen fluoride), fluorine-containing fine chemicals, fluorocarbons, and anhydrous hydrogen fluoride ； Zone II is mainly planned for industries such as fluoropolymers and high-purity hydrogen fluoride ； Zone III is mainly designated for productive service industries such as warehousing and machinery repair ； Zone IV is mainly designated for industries such as high-quality fluorides and fine barium salts.
