Multiple fluorine chemical projects have been signed and put into operation! 2025-03-26 13:45:07 On the morning of March 21, a signing ceremony for the fluorosilicon new materials industry chain project in Zigong was held. Nine projects were signed on-site, of which 8 projects related to the fluorosilicon new materials industry chain will be established in Yantan. With a total planned investment of 5.562 billion yuan, these projects will inject new momentum into the development of Zigong’s fluorosilicon new materials industry, helping to strengthen its industrial ecosystem and promote high-quality growth. With this agreement, Yantan District has secured 8 industrial chain projects at once, which will further strengthen cooperation across the upstream and downstream stages of the fluorosilicon new materials industry chain and promote its high-quality development. Among them, the one that attracts much attention is the project with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of methyl chlorides and related facilities. It is reported that the total investment for this project is 2.44 billion yuan, with a land area of around 500 mu; it is planned to build a facility capable of producing 200,000 tons per year of methyl chlorides. Additionally, the special fluoride new material production project signed by the coastal area with Sichuan Honghua Industrial Co., Ltd. is also worth looking forward to. The total investment planned for this project is 1 billion yuan, which will be used primarily to build production lines for high-purity chlorine trifluoride and high-purity fluorine nitrogen gas, with a focus on making breakthroughs in the technology for producing advanced materials used in fields such as semiconductors and new energy storage systems. At the signing ceremony, Yantan District also signed a cooperation agreement for the project to produce 50,000 tons per year of special fluorosilicon-based environmental-friendly functional new materials with Mianyang Maiswell Technology Co., Ltd., and a cooperation agreement for the project to produce 9,000 tons per year of fluorine-containing special fibers with Chongqing Pulisun New Materials Co., Ltd.
