On the afternoon of June 18, Zigong City held a signing ceremony for key projects such as fluorosilicon new materials in the second quarter of 2025, with 5 projects signed on site. This signing event covers projects such as high-end fluorine-containing new materials, green liquid biomass fuels, and degradable resins. Among them, the largest investment goes into the Hangzhou Yunxin New Materials Bio-based and Electronic New Materials project. The total investment for this project is planned to be 1 billion yuan, with a land area of 200 mu. It will mainly involve the construction of production lines for bio-based furandicarboxylic acid with an annual output of 10,000 tons, high-end fluorine-containing materials with an annual output of 8,660 tons, and electronic materials with an annual output of 6,400 tons. Once all phases of the project are operational, it is expected to generate an annual output value of 3.636 billion yuan and annual tax revenues of 419 million yuan. Fluorosilicon new materials represent an important branch of the new materials sector within China’s strategic emerging industries; they are also a key industry direction for developing high-quality productive forces in line with local conditions and for promoting high-quality development. In recent years, relying on its solid industrial foundation and favorable investment environment, Zigong has made significant efforts to foster the development of the fluorosilicon new materials industry. It has accelerated the establishment of a complete industrial chain that spans salt production, basic chemical manufacturing, fine chemical production, as well as fluorosilicon new materials and their applications, and has been recognized as \"China’s Green Fluorine Capital\".
