On September 3, a public notice was issued regarding the acceptance of the environmental impact assessment for Hunan Fubang New Materials Co., Ltd.’s project to expand its production capacity to 10,000 tons per year of lithium bisfluorosulfonylimide. Project Name: Project for Annual Production of 10,000 Tons of Lithium Difluorosulfonylimide ; Construction unit: Hunan Fubang New Materials Co., Ltd ; Construction location: Songmu Economic Development Zone, Hengyang, Hunan ; Project investment: 223.183 million yuan ; Project nature: Renovation and expansion ; Construction scale: (1) Build a production line with an annual output of 10,000 tons of lithium difluorosulfonylimide, to be implemented in two phases. Phase 1 will involve the construction of a production line with an annual output of 3,000 tons of lithium difluorosulfonylimide along with its supporting facilities, while Phase 2 will cover the construction of a production line with an annual output of 7,000 tons of lithium difluorosulfonylimide and its supporting facilities ; (2) The production process and equipment for the 2,400 tons per year capacity of lithium difluorosulfonylimide, which have been established under the \"4,000 tons per year lithium difluorosulfonylimide expansion project\" (Henghuanfa No. 149), will remain unchanged ; The construction of the equipment related to the 1,600 tons/year production capacity that has not yet been built will no longer proceed. (3) The existing 35m incinerator with a processing capacity of 0.8 t/h will be removed; all hazardous waste that was previously sent to this incinerator for disposal is now handed over to qualified entities for treatment. (4) Construct an 1100-meter-long, DN300 fiberglass-based overhead sulfur dioxide transmission line with a transport capacity of 11,000 tons per year (from Fubang to Hengguang), equipped with devices such as toxic gas alarms and transmission fans.
