Construction Location: Within the Liaocheng Chemical Industry Park Overview of the Construction Project: The project involves the existing framework area of the methyl monomer synthesis unit under the current 1-million-ton/year silicone production project (Phase I) within the park. This project involves no additional land use. The total investment is 28.9426 million yuan, with 50,000 yuan allocated for environmental protection. The workforce requirement is 3 personnel, who will be reassigned from within the Silicone Chemicals Branch; thus, no new employees need to be hired. The annual working hours amount to 7,200 hours. This project involves the construction of a high-boiling-point compounds rearrangement reactor, as well as the addition of a system for the rearrangement of such compounds; it is designed to handle 7,640 tons of high-boiling-point compounds per year. Some other auxiliary facilities and environmental protection systems will make use of those already existing in the facility. The high-boiling-point compounds treatment unit in this project is primarily used to handle the high-boiling-point compounds generated in the monomer synthesis unit of Luxi Chemical Group Co., Ltd.’s 1 million tons per year silicone (Phase I) project. These compounds include sludge residues and those obtained from the distillation of disilane. The target products after treatment are organic silicon compounds such as methylchlorosilane, dimethyldichlorosilane, trimethylmonochlorosilane, methyltrichlorosilane, and methylhydrodichlorosilane, as well as the residues at the bottom of the reactor. Instead of using incineration devices to process these high-boiling-point compounds and sludge residues, they are now reprocessed through the high-boiling-point compound rearrangement unit and sent to the purification towers in the monomer synthesis unit for further utilization, thereby reducing the amount of solid waste generated in the system; no products are sold externally as a result.
