On the afternoon of February 10, the signing ceremony for Putian Yitai Plastic’s annual production capacity of 30,000 tons in the fluorosilicon industry was held in Sanming Economic Development Zone. The project is planned to be located in the Jikou Circular Economy Industrial Park within the Sanming Economic Development Zone, taking advantage of the existing infrastructure and supporting facilities for the fluorine-related industries in the park to achieve efficient and clean utilization of resources. The total investment in the project is 200 million yuan; 8,500 square meters of standard factory space in the industrial park are leased for production. The fluorosilicon new material products manufactured here are widely used in fields such as coatings, rubber, plastics, silicone, and textile finishing. The Sanming Economic Development Zone is an important platform for the development of the fluorine-based new materials industry in Sanming City, and it includes two provincial-level chemical parks: the Jikou Circular Economy Industrial Park and the Huangsha Chemical Park. In recent years, the park has focused on developing the mid- and downstream industries related to fluorine-based new materials, continuously attracting projects that are key to the industrial chain to settle there. With the completion and operation of a number of affiliated enterprises, the park has initially established an industrial chain that goes from basic fluorine chemical raw materials to fluoropolymers and special fluorine salts, and then to high-end fine chemicals. The synergistic effects between upstream and downstream entities are continuously strengthening, resulting in a significant trend of industrial clustering. The successful introduction of this industrial project with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of fluorosilicon products will further enhance the concentration and competitiveness of the fluorine-based new materials industry in the park. It holds positive implications for optimizing the industrial structure of the park and promoting regional employment, and it also marks a new step forward for the Sanming Economic Development Zone in building a fluorine-based new materials industry base with distinct characteristics and a complete industrial chain.
