Classification of Type A and Type B for long-cycle operation

Class A indicates continuous operation of the device, while Class B means it is shut down but remains in operation for a continuous period of no more than 24 hours. Well, now here’s the problem… it’s frustrating just to think about it... How do you calculate this? As title: Question 1: If a certain device was operated in Class A for 27 days and in Class B for 37 days today, and if there are no shutdowns tomorrow, will it be 28 days in Class A and 37 days in Class B, or 38 days in Class B? Question 2: In the event of a jump-out incident, is it 1 day or 0 days for Category A? In other words, should Category A be reset to zero for further calculation? Question 3: If driving continues for more than 24 hours after getting out of the car, should both Class A and Class B counts start from 1? Question 4: If the device has never tripped since its first operation, for Category A it is 27 days; should Category B also be set to 27 days, 0, or not calculated at all? I hope no one sees this post......

In the equipment management system, in order to improve the management of maintenance, spare parts, and major repairs, equipment is classified into three categories – A, B, and C – based on its importance. Is this what you mean?
Normal parking or running for 24 hours without stopping counts as Category B. The number of days without any stops at all is counted as Category A. If there are pauses in between, the counting for Category B continues, while the count for Category A starts over again. Question 1: 28 days. Question 2: 0 days – counting starts over. Question 3: Everything is counted from scratch. Question 4: Category B also equals 27 days
