Dear experts, how do you provide heat tracing for the inlet pipelines at the top of your residue oil storage tanks?
Use steam heating, or hot oil heating will do
Steam tracing is generally used, and the number of tracing wires to be employed is determined based on the diameter of the pipeline and the temperature requirements of the process
Steam tracing is generally used, and the number of sets depends on the requirements.
What I’ve seen is all steam tracing, which is simple and practical.
