Questions about the fire lanes in the tank farm

GB50160 explicitly requires that liquefied hydrocarbon tank areas should be equipped with circular fire lanes. However, some old plant areas have liquefied hydrocarbon storage tanks surrounded by system pipe galleries; in other words, there is a system pipe gallery between the storage tanks and the circular fire lanes. Can such fire lanes still be considered circular fire lanes for the storage area? Won’t the system pipe gallery in between interfere with firefighting operations?

New ones definitely have no problems, but for old factories, the conditions simply aren’t there

The circular fire access route in the tank farm covers a large area; the pipe galleries merely cross the roads, and as long as the height limit allows fire trucks to pass through, there is no need to worry about it. Unless the layout of the pipe galleries is unreasonable and they occupy a large portion of the fire access route, then corrective action should be considered in such cases.
