The renovation of the oil depot project has just been completed, and the company has arranged for a no-load joint test of the loading system. We have no prior experience with this type of test, so we would like to ask our more experienced colleagues: what are the key points to consider when conducting a no-load joint test? Since the loading system is relatively simple, the individual tests for units such as pumps have also been completed. So, during a no-load joint test run, there is definitely no fluid present. Without fluid, the pump can only be started for a short period of time. There aren’t many components in a quantitative loading system that can operate in the absence of fluid; even electro-hydraulic valves cannot be switched on or off. So, can only alarm and interlock tests for oil leakage and static electricity grounding be carried out? Are there any other aspects? Please give some suggestions. Thank you! !
No-load joint test run? This statement is rather vague; testing a quantitative loading system without any medium simply makes no sense at all
After the single-unit trial run, we generally conduct a water-based joint trial run to simulate the necessary processes and test the entire storage and loading/unloading system. It is a prerequisite before official operation; I’ve really never carried out a no-load joint test run.
Is it just a simple software simulation? It doesn’t seem very useful
