Can a crane extend its boom, steer it, and retract the wire rope while lifting equipment?
When lifting a load at full capacity or near full capacity, it is strictly prohibited to lower the boom or to perform two lifting actions simultaneously. Under normal circumstances, when lifting heavy loads, it is not allowed to extend or retract the arm; if this is necessary, the operation must comply with the safety requirements specified in the lifting chart.
