**According to the standards for oil storage facilities, the lighting level within the storage area must not be higher than that of the storage tanks; from a lightning protection perspective, the use of high-mast lighting is not recommended. However, the construction standards for Sinopec’s oil storage facilities allow the use of high-mast lights in the tank areas. As for whether centralized high-mast lighting should be used in oil depots, what is the appropriate approach?
High-mast lights were a requirement during construction in previous years; projects in recent years no longer require them, and this standard has not been updated or revised.
This is indeed a bit ambiguous. Do any of the seniors have any good suggestions? ?
