The Spring Festival is not just the first day of the lunar calendar; in fact, the entire period from when people eat the Laba porridge until the 19th day of the first month, when the household deities are sent off, can be considered part of the Spring Festival. New Year’s Eve and the first day are particularly exciting and solemn. As a chemical industry professional, especially one who works on the front lines, the Spring Festival has arrived.
