Conditions for increasing the temperature of copper-based catalysts for methanol synthesis. Please ask the experienced members of the forum to come and take a look, as well as participate in the discussion. The copper-series catalysts used in the synthesis tower employ Lurgi furnace technology, with temperatures existing only at the inlet and outlet gases. So, what are the conditions or reasons for increasing the inlet temperature? When the outlet temperature reaches around 260 degrees, we assume that the catalyst has reached the end of its useful life. Production time? Crude alcohol yield? Please share your opinions!
