The \"Safety Code for Electrical Explosion Protection in Hazardous Areas\" (AQ3009-2007) stipulates that in order to minimize the risk of ignition from electrical equipment used in hazardous areas, an initial inspection of such equipment must be carried out during the completion and handover inspection before the devices and equipment are put into operation； To ensure that electrical equipment remains in good condition and can be used for extended periods in hazardous areas, continuous monitoring and regular inspections are necessary. The inspection items are listed in the corresponding clauses of Tables 10 to Table 18. Initial inspections and regular inspections should be carried out by safety production testing and inspection agencies with specialized expertise in explosion prevention. In other words, both the initial inspections and regular inspections are carried out by qualified external organizations, while continuous monitoring is done by the enterprise itself (continuous supervision should be conducted by the enterprise’s professionals as required, with corresponding inspection records kept; any abnormalities detected must be addressed promptly). Reputable testing centers such as the Tianjin Explosion Protection Testing Center PCEC, the Nanyang Explosion Protection Testing Center CQST, and the Shanghai **-Level Instrumentation Supervision and Inspection Station NEPSI can be commissioned to conduct on-site inspections and issue reports. It is also possible to request that they provide training for the company’s professional technical staff, so that the company can carry out inspections on its own in the future； Of course, there are also some third-party agencies that specialize in on-site explosion protection inspections, but their professional capabilities are relatively weaker.
