Are vinyl chloride, polyvinyl chloride, and acetylene considered liquefied hydrocarbons?
Measured by the definition of liquefied hydrocarbons, it seems they don’t qualify. Acetylene belongs to the hydrocarbons, but it doesn’t liquefy, right? So, does acetylene count? Excluding liquefied hydrocarbons, vinyl chloride is not a hydrocarbon; it is not stored in liquid form either, so it should not be included. Polyvinyl chloride certainly does not meet the criteria defined for liquefied hydrocarbons, so it most definitely doesn’t count. The above are my personal understandings and analyses; there is no textual basis for them. Please point out any mistakes
GB50160-2008(2018 edition) Terminology: 2.0.19 Liquefied hydrocarbon: Hydrocarbon liquids and other similar liquids with a vapor pressure greater than 0.1 MPa at 15°C, excluding liquefied natural gas.
Liquefied vinyl chloride belongs to liquefied hydrocarbons; it is listed as Class A1 in the example table of fire hazard classification provided in the explanatory notes to GB 50160-2008 (2018 edition).
