Recently, as the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are approaching, multiple regions including Guangdong, Shandong, and Zhejiang have begun to strictly regulate the passage of vehicles transporting hazardous chemicals. ▶▶Traffic restrictions during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Guangdong Province: from 00:00 on September 10, 2022, to 24:00 on September 12. National Day holiday: from 00:00 on September 30, 2022, to 24:00 on October 2, 2022, and from 00:00 on October 6, 2022, to 24:00 on October 7, 2022. Regular traffic restrictions: From 00:00 to 06:00, vehicles transporting dangerous goods are prohibited from using expressways in Guangdong Province. ▶▶Traffic restrictions during the Mid-Autumn Festival in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region: from 00:00 on September 9, 2022, to 24:00 on September 10, 2022 ; From 00:00 on September 12, 2022, to 24:00 on September 13, 2022. National Day holiday: from 00:00 on September 30, 2022, to 24:00 on October 2, 2022; and from 00:00 on October 6, 2022, to 24:00 on October 8, 2022. Regular traffic restrictions: From January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022, between 0:00 and 6:00 every day, vehicles transporting hazardous goods are prohibited from using highways within the administrative region of Guangxi. ▶▶Traffic restrictions during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Shandong Province: from 0:00 on September 10, 2022, to 06:00 on September 13, 2022. National Day traffic restrictions: from 0:00 on October 1, 2022, to 06:00 on October 8, 2022. Regular restrictions: From 0:00 to 6:00 every day, hazardous materials transport vehicles are prohibited from using the highways in Shandong Province. Vehicles that have entered the province before 0:00 must leave via the nearest toll station, and it is strictly forbidden for them to stop in service areas or at toll station plazas. ▶▶Traffic restrictions in Zhejiang Province during the Mid-Autumn Festival: from 00:00 on September 10 to 06:00 on September 13, 2022. National Day traffic restrictions: from 0:00 on October 1, 2022, to 06:00 on October 8, 2022. Regular restrictions: During the prohibited hours from 00:00 to 06:00 daily, as well as on all national public holidays, transport vehicles carrying hazardous chemicals are prohibited from operating on expressways throughout the province. ▶▶Traffic restrictions in Henan Province during the Mid-Autumn Festival: from 00:00 on September 10 to 06:00 on September 13, 2022. National Day traffic restrictions: from 0:00 on October 1, 2022, to 06:00 on October 8, 2022. Regular traffic restrictions: On highways across the province, vehicles transporting hazardous goods are prohibited from traveling between 0:00 and 6:00 every day. Dangerous goods transport vehicles already on the highway shall exit at the nearest point. ▶▶Traffic restrictions during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Hunan Province: from 0:00 on September 10, 2022, to 06:00 on September 13, 2022. National Day traffic restrictions: from 0:00 on October 1, 2022, to 06:00 on October 8, 2022. Regular restrictions: Hazardous goods transport vehicles are prohibited from driving from 0:00 to 6:00 every day. During the New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day holidays, the use of vehicles carrying dangerous goods on highways is prohibited throughout the day. ▶▶Traffic restrictions during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Shanxi Province: from 0:00 on September 10, 2022, to 06:00 on September 13, 2022. National Day traffic restrictions: from 0:00 on October 1, 2022, to 06:00 on October 8, 2022. Regular traffic restrictions: Driving on highways is prohibited from 0:00 daily to 6:00 the following day, as well as during national public holidays. ▶▶Traffic restrictions in Sichuan Province during the Mid-Autumn Festival: from 00:00 on September 10 to 06:00 on September 13, 2022. National Day traffic restrictions: from 0:00 on October 1, 2022, to 06:00 on October 8, 2022. Regular restrictions: Hazardous materials transport vehicles are prohibited from driving from 0:00 to 6:00 every day. During statutory holidays such as New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, International Labor Day on May 1st, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, vehicles used for transporting hazardous goods such as highly toxic substances, explosives, and radioactive materials are prohibited from carrying out any transportation activities. ▶▶Traffic restrictions during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Inner Mongolia: from September 10, 2022, to 24:00 on September 12. National Day traffic restrictions: from 0:00 on October 1, 2022, to 06:00 on October 8, 2022. During national public holidays such as New Year’s Day, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day, and Spring Festival, it is prohibited for hazardous materials transport vehicles to enter at all times. ▶▶Traffic restrictions during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Jiangsu Province: from 00:00 on September 10, 2022, to 24:00 on September 12, 2022. ▶▶Traffic restrictions during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Anhui Province: In accordance with the instructions of the traffic police, there are restrictions during holidays. On the Chizhou-Xinjiang Expressway, from 12:00 on September 9 to 8:00 on September 13, vehicles carrying hazardous materials are prohibited from entering the expressway at the Huainan West and Huainan entrances. Benghe Expressway: (From 12:00 on September 9 to 8:00 on September 13), vehicles carrying hazardous materials are prohibited from entering the expressway at the Huainan East entrance. On all expressways within Anhui Province, the passage of vehicles transporting hazardous chemicals is prohibited from 00:00 to 06:00 the next day. (Specifically, on the Yue-Qian section of the Ji-Guang Expressway and the Anhui section of the Yue-Wu Expressway, such vehicles are prohibited from passing at all times.) Hazardous materials transport vehicles that have entered by 0:00 should leave via the nearest exit in advance; it is strictly prohibited to stay in service areas or toll plaza areas. During periods of temporary traffic control imposed by the traffic management departments of public security agencies due to adverse weather conditions such as ice, snow, rain, or fog, as well as on legal holidays and during important events, hazardous materials transport vehicles are prohibited from using the highways within Anhui Province. Jiguang Expressway: Vehicles transporting hazardous goods are prohibited from entering at the east entrance of Dabie Mountain; vehicles carrying hazardous goods are also prohibited from entering at the Hushan Station entrance in the direction of Anqing. At the entrances to Huangtail, Yuexi, and Tianzhu Mountain, only vehicles from Yuexi County that hold long-term or temporary permits are allowed to enter, provided that these vehicles are used to transport gasoline, diesel, or natural gas for civilian use (vehicles transporting hazardous goods are prohibited from using the Jiguang Expressway’s Yuqian section). Note: Hazardous goods transport vehicles traveling from Lu’an to Qianshan must exit at the Huangwei exit, while those traveling from Wangjiang to Lu’an must exit at the Tianzhushan exit. Yuewu Expressway: Due to the demolition of the Wanhe-Yueshi station and the Hubei Yangliu mainline station (information boards in Hubei now advise vehicles carrying dangerous goods not to use the Anhui section of the road, while signs at the Yangliu ramp indicate that drivers should exit at the nearest exit). South of the Dabie Mountains, at the entrance to Sikong Mountain, only vehicles transporting gasoline, diesel, and natural gas for civilian use are permitted to pass through, provided they are registered in Yuexi County and possess either a long-term or temporary permit (hazardous materials transport vehicles are prohibited from using the Anhui section of the Yuewu Expressway). ▶▶Traffic restrictions during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Chongqing: from 00:00 on September 10, 2022, to 24:00 on September 12, 2022. National Day traffic restrictions: from 0:00 on October 1, 2022, to 06:00 on October 8, 2022. National Day holiday: from 12:00 on September 30, 2022, to 24:00 on October 7, 2022. During these two festive periods, it is important to plan purchases and stockpiling carefully, and to return home safely while paying attention to epidemic prevention.
