Successful trial operation of intelligent forklifts at Jinling Petrochemical On July 12, Jinling Petrochemical’s first set of intelligent forklifts completed a 30-day trial operation successfully; their intelligent control system ensured stable performance, thereby improving the safety standards in operations. The traditional forklift supervision model struggles to monitor in real time situations such as illegal driving, excessive speed, and operation of vehicles in poor condition; it is impossible to trace such activities, and it is difficult to collect evidence afterwards. To address this challenge, Jinling Petrochemical has utilized technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and big data to develop an intelligent safety management system for forklifts, thereby exploring new models for the intelligent management of forklifts. The trial operation results show that the system features platformization, process-oriented design, and digital intelligence. The driver’s operational permissions are verified through smart terminals, and the vehicle cannot start in cases such as failed identity information collection or mismatched identity details. The vehicle also cannot start if its annual inspection has passed its deadline. During operation, if the system detects that the driver is not wearing a seat belt, is on the phone, or is driving too fast, it alerts the driver promptly to ensure proper operation. Additionally, the status of forklift operations can be monitored in real time via monitoring screens, PCs, and mobile devices, allowing for immediate action in case of any risks and thus ensuring operational safety.
Thank you for sharing this. You won’t regret watching it. The circulating water in that facility is yellow, just like the water of the Yellow River. https://bbs.hcbbs.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=5667515 (Source: Haichuan Chemical Industry Forum)
