The purity index of the liquid air at the lower tower fluctuates significantly, ranging from 38 to 47%. Is this normal?

Such large fluctuations, if they were real data, would definitely be abnormal. 36 to 38 should be the approximate range.
What is the design point of this device? It should not exceed 41%.
The normal process parameters are between 38 and 40; if yours is between 38 and 47, then it’s abnormal provided that the measuring instruments are accurate. You should check whether factors such as the amount of air entering the tower are normal.
