The feed and discharge volumes of the stripping tower and the distillation tower remain essentially unchanged, nor do the valve positions change; only the temperature rises by about 3 degrees. Within about an hour, both towers see their temperatures increase by around 5 percent as well Have you guys encountered it? Is it thermal expansion and contraction?
I think it’s the increased air content in the liquid that causes inaccurate level measurement
Has the composition of the feed changed? The tower temperature increased by 3 degrees, and the liquid level rose as well; this suggests that the proportion of heavier components has increased. As a result, the temperature at the bottom of the tower increased along with the liquid level in the tower bottom.

The top of the distillation tower contains mainly light components, which are quite sensitive to changes in temperature. As the temperature rises, the temperature at the top of the tower also increases, and so does the pressure there. The distillation column is connected to a stripping tower system; as the pressure increases, the liquid layer on the trays thins, and accordingly the liquid level at the bottom of the column rises. 2.
