To prevent the tower from overpressuring, the operating pressure should theoretically be the same; in practice, this is not always the case. However, the operating pressure of the safety valve must be lower than the design pressure of the tower! It serves to protect the tower equipment!

Is the flow capacity of a single safety valve insufficient? The set pressures of the three safety valves may vary slightly, but they must all be lower than the design pressure. Designing three safety valves also facilitates offline maintenance of each one individually without shutting down the system later (it seems that your safety valves don’t have front and rear valves, at least not in the drawings).
