Regarding the residence time in the tower bottom

Currently, most of the material extracted from the tower bottom is sent to the reboiler where it is partially vaporized and returned to the tower, while a small amount is extracted as product. Here’s the problem: upon seeing the unified regulations for several versions of the process design, I found them to be somewhat ambiguous or unreasonable. The main points are as follows: 1. Regardless of the circumstances, use a flow meter in the reboiler, with a required residence time of 8 minutes ； 2. See Figure 3 for details. 3. 10 minutes for the sum of the gasification volume in the reboiler and the flow rate of the output product. Has everyone seen the corresponding standard regulations? Or if you have a more reasonable residence time for the tower bottom, please analyze and share it.
The dwell time corresponding to your table should be correct; I’ve seen that the SEI design specifications show similar values as well
Yes, the table should be correct, but it isn’t clear enough as to what constitutes large and small. Additionally, there are two settings that differ significantly; there is really too little basic research in China, so everyone can just follow their own intuition and have their own interpretations, which results in a lack of consistency and standardization in the work being done. It also seems a bit nonsensical at the same time.
