As the title suggests: 1. The protrusion height of the vessel nozzles is generally specified to be between 150 and 200 mm. This requirement applies fine to the side wall nozzles of vertical equipment, but it may not be suitable for the nozzles of vertical or horizontal equipment that have a top platform. The reason is that the top platform is also usually about 200 mm away from the outer wall of the container cylinder, and the sealing surface of the pipe flange is located below the platform, which makes it difficult to install the bolt washers and thus causes inconvenience. It is recommended that container designers consider not only the insulation thickness but also the height of the top platform; having the pipe extensions rise above this platform facilitates the installation of gaskets and bolts. It is a horizontal vessel; this equipment features 80 mm of insulation. The platform is at a relatively high height above the outer surface of the cylinder, and all the flange sealing surfaces are located below the platform, which makes it difficult to install bolt washers. 2. The size of the top platform: Since there are few combined platforms on the top, which include safety valves, pressure gauges, thermocouples, suspension columns, instrument panels, ladder access points, etc., a large number of components end up being placed on this platform. However, the platform cannot be too large, as a ladder needs to be able to reach it. What is the best way to arrange these elements?

If the elevation is not determined by the platform in the initial stage, the pipe outlets can be installed as usual. Before platform construction, it is possible to plan the layout in advance and pre-drill holes in the steel grating or patterned steel plate. The diameter of the tower is determined by the top platform; larger towers can have it installed at the top of the head. Due to its lower height as well, the small tower can be installed at the tangent point of the head.
In addition to meeting basic functions, efforts should be made to ensure ease of operation and maintenance, which is what constitutes user-friendly design. :lol
I agree with what was said on the second floor: the platform needs to have holes at the interface points. Additionally, if the poster is concerned about difficulties in installation, the connecting pipes can be made longer
