How is the butter separated from the alkali scrubber towers in ethylene or MTO plants disposed of?

Hello everyone. Both ethylene plants and MTO plants have caustic scrubbers in which butter is generated. How does your plant handle this butter?

So do you know what treatment process is used for utilities, incineration? Still takeout?
Butter can be preliminarily treated and separated using waste alkali/waste oil processing equipment. Oils can be further treated at wastewater treatment plants or burned in specialized boilers; some facilities entrust relevant companies to remove the waste alkalis and oils for processing.
In other words, there is no effective way to deal with it – by burning it or outsourcing the task
Currently, the treatment of waste alkali solutions is a challenge in the industry. Recycling cannot be achieved in its entirety; only partial recycling is possible ； For waste alkali, I believe the best current method of treatment is to mix it into coal-fired boilers for incineration.
Wouldn’t it be better to burn the used oil along with it?
Butter is a good thing; try to recycle it as much as possible. Only the portion of the waste alkaline solution that cannot be recycled is incinerated along with the waste alkaline solution.
