I’m seeking advice from experts: our company has 3,000 Lifan cooling towers, each equipped with 12 ventilation fans rated at 7.5 KW. The current external temperature is 29 degrees Celsius; the temperature of the water in the circulation tank is 37 degrees Celsius, while the temperature of the water exiting the equipment is 56 degrees Celsius. If we adjust the angle of the fan blades in these cooling towers, keeping all other conditions unchanged, by how much can the temperature be reduced?
It’s hard to say by how many degrees it will drop; this work must be done regardless.
The angle of the fan blades needs to be adjusted; the exact degree of adjustment requires design calculations to determine whether it is feasible from a technical perspective, and to check if there are any other potential issues as a result of such adjustments – all of these factors need to be taken into consideration.
There are three groove impressions at the junction of the fan blade and the keel; currently, the fan blade overlaps one of the middle groove impressions. Should the fan blade be aligned with the other groove instead?
Your water temperature is too high. Adjusting the fan blades can solve certain problems; the exact angle of adjustment needs to be calculated. In my opinion, even if you adjust the angle, the water temperature won’t drop much.
I have a question: do you intend to increase the ventilation volume by changing the angle of the fan blades, thereby increasing the amount of water that vaporizes and ultimately lowering the water temperature?
One should check the selection curve of the fan purchased to see if there is room for further improvement. If you increase the angle but the motor does not have sufficient power, the rotation speed may actually decrease as a countereffect, or the motor could burn out. There are too many cases where the heat exchange capacity is insufficient; look for the reasons in terms of process design and equipment selection.
It should be possible; changing the impeller in the pump is similar to changing the flow rate. However, I suggest you check whether the size of the motor and the strength of the transmission mechanism are compatible. Additionally, if the amount of vaporization increases, the volume of water in the storage tank also needs to be increased to prevent corrosion caused by high salt levels.
The temperature can be reduced a little, but it’s unlikely that the reduction will be significant~~~~ Either the circulation volume was calculated incorrectly, or no new cooling towers were added alongside the new equipment~~~~ However, it’s possible to increase the load on the cooling towers by adding fans and packing – the former increases the air flow, while the latter increases the residence time~~~ Thanks for considering this solution~~
