For Tower 1 in the methanol washing process, is it necessary to install gaskets between the trays and the support rings when installing the trays? Are there any other technical requirements?

When the levelness of the tray after installation meets the requirements specified in the drawings, there is no need to use shims; the purpose of using shims is to adjust the levelness so that it meets the required standards.
In principle, construction should be carried out in accordance with the design drawings. Additionally, it depends on the type of tray to determine whether additional gaskets are needed. In some processes that use bubble trays, gaskets need to be added between the tray and the support ring; the material of these gaskets is determined based on the operational requirements and construction conditions. Some processes also use gaskets on the floating valve trays. It will be decided depending on the specific circumstances.
