The diesel extraction from the distillation tower has upper and lower extraction ports, and the middle-grade oil also has corresponding upper and lower return ports. How can diesel extraction and backflow to Stage 1 be adjusted in production to achieve more optimized conditions?

Generally, when using mid-range upward pumping, diesel is used for upward extraction; when using mid-to-low range pumping, diesel is used for downward extraction. Diesel used for upward extraction has a lighter composition than that used for downward extraction, and its specific gravity is relatively lower compared to that of 95% grade diesel. Is it possible to extract from the diesel inlet and reverse the tower in the middle section? Is it okay to set both the upper and lower diesel extraction valves at 1/2, and to operate the mid-section for returning fluid to the tower?
