Do you collect wax oil when starting up your vacuum distillation tower? Are all the oil collection tanks full? This unit has a capacity of 8 million tons for atmospheric and vacuum distillation!
No need? It’s better to collect the oil at the top of the atmospheric tower; this makes it easier to establish reflux and prevents the temperature at the tower top from rising too high. Pressure reduction essentially means reducing the pressure by one unit, and oil collection is also necessary in this process
For our smaller devices in the past, it was sufficient to use a first-line oil collection tank with discount mechanisms; I’m not sure if this is due to the larger devices
No need; we all use regular adjustments to increase or decrease pressure, in order to establish a return flow as quickly as possible, so that a good vacuum level can be achieved
Oh, we’re learning now that this device needs to be completely filled before it can be turned on!
I’m not sure about the large-scale installations; our 350w optical receiver has had its power reduced. Previously, oil was drawn from the tank area, but now it’s being sourced from Constant II instead
We used to buy diesel too; it was enough as long as the peak temperature could be kept under control
It depends on the properties of the crude oil! Ours all go from regular third-tier to first-tier with a reduction! However, relatively speaking, using wax oil is beneficial for establishing reflux in the early stages of operation, and it is a simpler approach from an operational perspective
No need; reduce the volume in the return tank to store the diesel used for startup, and adjust the liquid level accordingly based on the actual startup requirements
