What is the function of the spring in the coking tower? Please give your advice.
It’s supposed to be used for fixed insulation; the poster can check where the upper end of the spring is fixed
Used for fixing the external shoulder straps on the backpack-style insulation structure.
It is used for the insulated fixing strips on the cladding, as coke towers are subject to thermal fatigue – they expand at high temperatures and contract at low temperatures. Therefore, a spring is needed to counteract the deformation. Otherwise, the insulation will fall apart.
