For the Dalian University of Technology process package, in the methanol wash medium-pressure flash tower, the methanol rich in H2S goes to the CO2 stripping tower; some of it enters the upper section while some enters the middle section. Are there any requirements for the lower section? Also, why does the rich methanol flowing from C-03 to tower C-02 go into the lower section rather than the bottom of C-02? What is the significance behind this choice of feed location? Could some expert please explain this? Thank you.
It is mainly set for CO2 production; when the load is low, the flow goes directly to the bottom, and when the load is high, it goes to the middle, with the aim of ensuring sufficient cooling capacity
