What is the maximum time it takes for the liquid to flow from the amine regeneration tower to the liquid separation tank after a tower flush?
It depends on the amount of steam and the rate at which the tower pressure drops; this process is quite fast – the tank usually gets full in just one minute
What was said on the 2nd floor is correct; it’s difficult to determine this time accurately, as it depends on factors such as the equipment, dielectric quality, and gas volume.
In the case of a washout in the amine liquid regeneration tower, the steam flow is usually reduced for a short period of time to accelerate the descent of the liquid phase.
As long as tower flooding occurs, the liquid level in the reflux tank rises, and it can fill up in just a few minutes; therefore, as soon as tower flooding is detected, steam should be shut off immediately
This thing takes very little time – just about one or two minutes
Rapidly flush the tower; adjust to reduce the steam volume, and adjust the tower system pressure so that it isn’t too low
Soon, considering a gas velocity of 1 m/s, it is estimated that less than 1 minute will be needed.
