What does a reflux ratio of 9:1 in a distillation column mean? How much should each of the pneumatic valves for the top discharge and reflux be opened? Set the discharge port at 90% and the reflux at 10%?
The reflux ratio is a concept related to flow rate, not the opening degree of a valve. Look at the flow rate value, not the opening degree!
