Is it necessary to rotate the pump shaft during preheating of high-temperature pumps (above 300 degrees)? Are there any specific regulations regarding this? Are there any particular requirements regarding the temperature difference between the upper and lower parts of the pump head? At our company, operators do not rotate the pump during its preheating process. I used a temperature gun to measure the temperature difference between the upper and lower parts of the pump head, and it was nearly 100 degrees! Isn’t that very dangerous?
There are special turning wrenches; preheated hot oil pumps also need to be turned, and this needs to be done daily~~~~ Always pay attention to safety~~~
Preheating the high-temperature pump by turning it manually is necessary; our regulation requires this to be done once per hour
