Friends with experience in high-speed pumps, please share: your usage experience, reliability, design experience, manufacturing costs, and the market prospects; as well as the industries and applications where they are used! Thank you so much!
Do you want to do it yourself? Conditions of low flow rate and high head
There are several disadvantages to using high-speed pumps in place of multi-stage pumps. For multi-stage pumps, there is only one hydraulic model at a given flow rate, which ensures consistent flow values at different head levels; whereas in the case of single-stage pumps, both the flow rate and the head change as the diameter of the impeller changes. To improve efficiency, more hydraulic models must be developed. Secondly, with current multi-stage pump systems, even when operating at a head of 160 meters, the current does not exceed the limit; however, with single-stage pumps, exceeding 20% of the rated operating condition can already lead to overcurrent. Third, inventory costs also do not offer any advantage. If you want to start a business, you can focus on energy conservation.
The portable fire pump used in firefighting is essentially a high-speed gasoline pump; research was conducted on this earlier, but unfortunately the company did not proceed with it. It is in response to **policy – every village needs to use it, especially those with many mountains!
For devices with low flow rates and high head, high-speed pumps can be chosen, but they are prone to cavitation and have low efficiency
Any product, once it is released, must be adapted to the market. Those who cannot create value will be eliminated.
In terms of usage, the injection pump from Beijing Aerospace was operated for over 16,000 revolutions, and leakage occurred at the lubricating oil side seal; this problem recurred every about 15 days, and it was not resolved. The pump from Zhejiang Tiande is a liquid-poor pump used in hydrogen production, and its secondary seal leaked as well; the seals used were from Sichuan Nichi, yet the problem persisted and the leak continued. During this year’s maintenance visit to the factory, the injection pump was working normally. The technical precision required for processing design is high. Compared to multi-stage pumps, it has lower costs and energy consumption, and also takes up less space.
