It was found that the station is equipped with long-distance transfer pumps, fuel supply pumps, and oil transfer pumps. For these three types of pumps, which type of centrifugal pump should be chosen – horizontal or vertical? What are the directions of the inlet and outlet for each pump? Additionally, what are the functional roles of the fuel supply pump and the oil transfer pump? Thank you
It seems you haven’t been working with pumps for long; various names such as the oil feed pump, oil transfer pump, and long-distance transport pump mentioned above are simply used for differentiation. Moreover, centrifugal pumps are not the only type of pump used for transporting oil – screw pumps are also widely employed.
