Turbine machinery and lubrication requirements in the petrochemical industry

I attended a meeting held by a lubricant company affiliated with an oil and chemical enterprise earlier; the meeting covered information regarding the lubricants used in turbine units within the oil and chemical industry. Since the documents contained comparisons of data among competing brands and other similar information, such content is not suitable for public release. For us ordinary managers who work with pump systems, it is sufficient to have an understanding of basic lubrication management knowledge. 8 pages were selected; the last two pages reserved the company’s trademark, along with the specific grades of lubricants commonly used by that company (haha, it’s like a form of advertising)
It’s a shame that there was no focus on pump lubrication at this conference. To be honest, the lubricants used for pumps are quite basic – mostly lubricants with a viscosity of 46#. There aren’t as many options or considerations as with large-scale machinery, haha.
