I would like to ask: for a batch of low-flow centrifugal pumps (3–5 m3/h) in our company, can these pumps be installed on a steel platform based on the process requirements? The factory building is made of steel structure – are there any relevant standards governing this?
The pump can be installed on a steel platform; an industrial steel structure foundation is required for its installation. The platform reinforcement steel beam at the base is connected to the pump foundation.
It can be installed on a steel platform; however, considerations must be given to the lifting beams required for the steel structural foundation and the repair of pumps. It is recommended to have a civil engineering design firm determine this.
A pump this small should be fine
It’s possible, but it’s not standard, and the vibration will be high
