Centrifugal pumps generally use 32 or 46 grade engine oil to lubricate their bearings, but on the bearing housings of some manufacturers’ pumps, it is specified that \"oil should not be added\" – adding oil in such cases can cause leakage. Are these pumps lubricated with grease, requiring no maintenance or oiling? For comparison, what are the differences between pumps that require refueling and those that don’t, and which one is better?

There is no such thing as a maintenance-free bearing housing that uses lubricating oil; Grease has a simple structure, but its lubricating effect is somewhat poor; it requires little maintenance. It is generally used in low-speed pumps. Only bearing housings filled with grease can be considered maintenance-free. Such rolling bearings contain a predetermined amount of grease inside them, which is used once, and the bearings need to be replaced when their useful life is exhausted.
