Regarding the scaling issue in self-priming pumps, can the use of a flushing pipeline eliminate this scaling?
Scaling is mainly due to carbonate deposition, and flushing cannot solve it

This kind of issue is very difficult to deal with; the only solutions are to use electrochemistry, or to carry out water softening at the water intake, as well as applying coatings to the impeller and volute of the pump to make their surfaces smooth and less prone to scaling
