Are there any regulations in the current system guidelines regarding the regular switching of backup pumps?

The specific measures to take depend on the actual situation and needs of each enterprise, which should establish its own rules. In principle, it is advisable to use backup pumps regularly for a certain period of time. Even though they are backup pumps, they still need to follow maintenance procedures such as regular inspections, cleaning, rotation, and oil changes. Otherwise, if backup pumps are left unused for too long, they may end up becoming obsolete

I’ve seen many cases where the switch is done every 3 months. This is related to the factory’s production process. Some media are more prone to clogging, so the switching cycle is shorter; there are those with a cycle of around a month as well. You can’t stop for too long either, just like with a car. :lol
We specify a switch-over once a month; if it is a variable-frequency pump being switched to a fixed-frequency mode, it should remain in that mode for 15 minutes before switching back.

Our pumps have motor powers of over 45KW, and we replace them every two months； For those below 45KW, it is cut once a month.
