I went to repair the vertical screw pump today and found that I don’t know what the place marked in the picture is used for, especially the function of the screw at the bottom. Please give me some guidance!
This is called a safety valve. Normally speaking, the return pressure is adjusted to prevent equipment damage caused by misoperation. If you know the operation process, you can just lock the bolt directly. There is a spring inside.
Indeed, the safety valve on the screw pump regulates the oil pressure.
